Payment Dates and Procedures

All students (Barnard, Columbia, and visiting students) who register for a class(es) will receive a summer session e-bill directly from Barnard College via email and must submit payment through the Bursar Student Account Center (BSAC). Students can submit electronic payments (e-checks or credit/debit card payments) via the Bursar Student Account Center. Students can also send their check payments to Barnard College, Bursar's Office, 3009 Broadway, New York, NY 10027. The payment deadline is two weeks after receiving your payment for Summer 2025, but no later than May 27 for Summer A and B.

***Barnard is not processing federal or private loans for Summer 2025. Please reach out to the Financial Aid office for additional information.***

Summer 2025 Refund Policies

Summer Refund Policy:

By registering for classes or completing a housing application for Summer 2025, a student is legally obligated to pay for those services. Barnard's refund policy for tuition is as follows for Barnard, Columbia, Pre-Baccalaureate, and Visiting students:

  • Withdrawal from Summer courses before the start of the term: If a student withdraws before the beginning of the Summer term (on or before May 27 for Session A or July 7 for Session B), the student will not incur any tuition charges (refer to Summer Housing and Health fees for refund policy).
  • Withdrawal from Summer courses during the first week of class for each session: If a student withdraws after the start of the Summer term by completing the *necessary forms* on of before May 30 for Summer A  and July 7 for Summer B, tuition charges will be fully refunded.
  • Withdrawal after June 2 for Summer A and July 14 for Summer B: No refund.
  • Summer Housing: Summer Housing Cancellation forms and fees are available on the Residential Life website.
  • Summer Health Fee: No refund will be issued on the Summer Health Fee starting the first day of the student's summer assignment.
